Kerynn Fisher has been appointed the executive officer for the University of èßäÊÓƵ Board of Regents. This position is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the board, èßäÊÓƵ administration, governmental entities, and the public. The executive officer also plays a crucial role in interpreting and understanding regents' policies, èßäÊÓƵ regulations, and èßäÊÓƵ statutes.

Fisher has served as special assistant to University of èßäÊÓƵ President Pat Pitney since October 2020. Prior to 2020, she served as grant coordinator for the Fairbanks North Star Borough. Fisher also worked at UAF for more than 20 years, serving in positions with the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services, the University of èßäÊÓƵ Museum of the North, and KUAC. Fisher has served on the FNSB Planning Commission since 2020.
