University of èßäÊÓƵ Interim President Pat Pitney met with the Senate Education Committee Feb. 3 to provide an in-depth presentation outlining the èßäÊÓƵ’s legislative priorities and highlighting a number of topics including the èßäÊÓƵ system’s: key role in the state’s economy; strategic approach to serving èßäÊÓƵ’s educational needs while operating under budgetary constraints; maintaining key programs; service to èßäÊÓƵ during COVID-19; enrollment trends; and, research and federal initiatives.
